WE WELCOME GROUP BOOKINGS

Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village has a range of packages available for groups.

Through the day you can explore Australia’s most awarded maritime heritage precinct, climb the lighthouse, take in the views and learn about the region's maritime history.

By night, Tales of the Shipwreck Coast Sound and Light Show takes you on a journey through the ages. This award winning nightly event will be something your group will talk about for the rest of their journey.

The Maremma Penguin Protector Experience

We also offer the chance to learn about the Middle Island Project. This is a world first project that uses Maremma doges to protect Warrnambool’s Little Penguin colony.

Catering Options

There are a number of catering options to choose from including:

  • Devonshire Tea - our village baked scones are the best on the Great Ocean Road.
  • Platters Lunch – freshly made mixed sandwiches with a scone slathered in jam & cream.
  • Captain’s Hot Lunch – a cup of homemade soup with a savoury scone and a mixture of hot pastries.

By Night

See the village come to life and experience the stories told through projections onto a nine-metre water wall.

Tales of the Shipwreck Coast takes you on a journey through the ages. From local Aboriginal stories to our colourful whaling past then to events that gave our coastline a reputation that inspired fear and trepidation among mariners.

Shows begin at dusk, with start times changing seasonally. The Wharf Theatre is open fronted so warm clothing in cooler months is recommended.
