Wool Weekend
Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th July, 11am -3pm
Experience the rich history of wool, from its origins to modern day uses, all while enjoying a comforting hot drink or hearty mug of house-made soup. See traditional wool and fibre practices and crafts, including blade shearing, fleece preparation, yarn spinning, and knitting, plus special demonstrations of felting and dyeing, storytelling and interactive touch and feel activities for all ages.

Fire Night
Saturday 17th August, 5pm – 9:30pm
Bundle up and gather ‘round for a warming night of winter delights.
Just as the sun sets be amazed at the sound and spectacle of the 80 pound cannon as it illuminates the night sky.
Then relax by a crackling open fire with some local hearty winter warming food from Bambino Wood Fired Pizza, Sun Bear BBQ and Jun’s Home Kitchen. Toast your own marshmallows and enjoy live music by Nick Alexander while sipping on a hot drink or winter cocktail.

International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend
Saturday 17th August, 10am – 9:30pm & Sunday 18th August, 10am – 2pm
Lighting up the Airwaves
The Flagstaff Hill lighthouses are among many worldwide being celebrated over a weekend dedicated to highlighting the importance of promoting, preserving and protecting lighthouse heritage. To mark this occasion, Flagstaff Hill, in collaboration with the Warrnambool Men's Shed Radio Group, will host a 48-hour amateur radio event from the upper lighthouse complex. The annual event will bring together over 400 lighthouse-based amateur radio groups from across the world all aiming to establish communication with as many other operators as possible over the course of the weekend.
