All activities require adult supervision

Cooking Up a Storm
Using a traditional recipe, measure & mix to create yourself a take home bag of yummy treats. Be careful you might find it so yummy it won’t even get home!! Limit 25. Sessions suitable for primary age – 15y/o children. Bookings Essential – Contact Flagstaff Hill Reception.

A Day in the Life of a Common School Student
Be on your best behaviour as the School Master and his assistant show you how to behave and learn in the 1860’s Common School. Don’t misbehave or the School Master might have to use his cane & you don’t want that! Lessons suitable for primary age – 15 y/o children. Limited numbers. Book at Reception

Sailors Pouches
Traditionally sailors would make themselves a special pouch that they would attach to their belt. This would hold their tools and treasures. Come and sew or glue and decorate your own special pouch to carry your special things.

Suffolk Puffs
Also known as Yo-Yos these are circles of fabric sewn & gathered to create a ‘puff’. Traditionally they were stuffed and sewn together to make quilts & blankets. Learn how to make these Suffolk Puffs and use them to make a brooch, flowers or something for your hair.

Paper Chain People
Carefully fold and cut lengths of paper to create a decorative chain of people for your home or classroom. It’s lots of fun and there are no limits. Use your imagination to create chains of anything you want.

Jewellery Making
Come and make something that’s gorgeous and unique that will make you stand out from the crowd when you combine it with your latest outfit or fashionable ensemble! Great for presents too.

Animal Keyrings
Using Posca paint markers decorate your choice of Australian animals to create a uniquely beautiful keyring.

Triton Woodworkers
Fun and easy woodwork activities for kids. Choose from a wide selection of pre- made kits to build. With a friendly team of helpers on hand, D.I.Y has never been this much fun.

Maremma Penguin Protectors
Learn all about the Little Penguins living on Middle Island in Warrnambool and how the Maremma dogs protect them from predators. No contact with dogs permitted. Socially distanced photos only. Limit 30 people. Book at Flagstaff Hill Reception.

Marvellous Medicine with Doctor Harrison
Find out how Dr Harrison the Apothecary uses plants and natural materials to make medicine. Be prepared to be shocked, surprised and educated (with lots of laughter) as you gain an insight into things like worms, wee, and other curious ailments that affect our bodies.
Look out for the man in the purple coat and top hat!
