Come and enjoy fun sessions at 11am and 2pm daily during the summer school holidays. Bookings are essential for 'Cooking up a Storm' and 'Reading, 'Riting, 'Rithmatic'. Sessions run for 45 minutes, adult supervision is required. 

Acitiviy Descriptions:

Reading, ‘Riting & ‘Rithmatic* — Be on your best behaviour as the School Ma’am shows you how to behave in the 1870’s Common School. Dress in period costume, role play & use slate boards. Don’t misbehave or the School Ma’am might have to get her cane out & you don’t want that! (Age: Primary School. Limit: 30. Book at Reception)

Cooking Up A Storm* — Using a traditional recipe, measure and mix to create yourself a take home bag of yummy treats. Don’t miss out, booking is essential for ALL wanting to participate. Collect your special cooking pass from reception(Limit 30. Book at reception) 

Gorgeous Glitzy Necklaces — Using simple materials and your imagination make a beautiful glitzy necklace for yourself or someone dear. These make great presents.

Traditional Paper Chain Dolls — Pirates, traditionally dressed ladies or seafaring folk? You choose as you colour and decorate a string of paper chain dolls.

​Cute Clown Characters (CR) - Such a simple process for an awesome result!! Cut, glue and thread to make a gorgeous , colourful clown figure. Get busy in the holidays and make a whole clown family!!

Animal Snappers — Watch out for your fingers! Be inspired by your favourite jaw snapping animal & make a hand puppet for you & a friend so you can have a chomping time!

Why I Love Australia— Bronwyn Bancroft has written and illustrated a picture book, short listed for this years Picture Book of the Year Award, called “Why I Love Australia”. It is a magnificent book superbly illustrating the Australian landscape showing a strong Aboriginal influence. In this session come and listen to the story, view the illustrations & produce your own aboriginal style picture of the landscape that is special to you.
