Australian Accommodation Association- Best New Accommodation
The Australian Accommodation Associations Best New Accommodation award recognises our countries best new accommodation developments. In 2011 the Lighthouse Lodge took out this prestigious award against other high budget ventures. The judging process included a 'mystery' visit by an award judge and a formal submission completed by our dedicated staff.
Congratulations to our staff and Friends of Flagstaff Hill Volunteers.
Victorian Tourism Awards
Flagstaff Hill Lighthouse Lodge was awarded the 2010 Best New Product- Victorian Tourism. Recognised for its uniqueness and contribution to Warrnambool and The Great Ocean Road.
There are some great comments by our guests, so take a look at what they say.
Lighthouse Lodge is proud to use 100% Green Power as part of our commitment to the environment.
We take cleaning our beautiful lodge very seriously. In fact we have entered the Healthy Hotel program to give you and guests that are sensitive to allergies or other chemical reactions a great deal of confidence in your stay.
This program certifies that we complete deep cleansing cleaning across our accommodation as part of a scheduled maintenance program. This cleaning includes bed covering, blinds, carpets and mattresses. We use low allergy cleaning products and welcome any comments from our guests about our cleaning standards.

Access Friendly Accommodation
We are committed to providing accommodation that provides easy access to assist guests with any physical limitations.
When designing the Lighthouse Lodge we gained the assistance of the Warrnambool City Council Access team to design features that will assist guests needing some extra assistance for access.
Room 1 has been equipped with an easy access bathroom that includes a no edge shower with adjustable shower head, an easily accessible toilet and suitable doorways.
The entire lodge is on one level which allows guests to drive up to the entrance and be on the same level throughout the lodge.
Please Note: Views of the bay from the rear garden require guests to walk up some historic steps.
