Flagstaff Hill Lighthouse Lodge has been fully renovated to meet the high quality accommodation needs of todays travellers. Our guests will not suffer the hardships or isolation that most lighthousekeepers of shipping era had to endure to keep the shipping channels safe.

Guests can select to use just one room and possibly share the lodge with other guests. Its is a great way to meet fellow travellers in the shared lounge - kitchen area and re-count your Great Ocean Road travel experiences.
Exclusive Use
Or guests can select to take the entire Lighthouse Lodge for Exclusive Use. You can use all rooms, have two people stay or 6. If you want the privacy of your own Lighthouse Lodge experience this is a great option.

History of Lighthouse Lodge
Built in 1911 to be the home for the Warrnambool Harbourmaster it was positioned to be located close to the flagstaff used to signal incoming ships, and the Lady Bay Lighthouses. The building was fully renovated in 2010 and opened to the public in March of this year.
The historic features of the building have been retained in the full refurbishment that ensures you will be the most comfortable lighthousekeeper in Australia.

Alergy Friendly
The Lighthouse Lodge is a Certified Healthy Hotel. This means we complete cleaning with low alergy cleaning products and complete regular deep cleaning of pillows and bed mattresses. We are certified under the Healthy Hotels program that ensures we maintain cleaning standards to the required level using suitable low alergy products.

Access Friendly
Our lodge has been renovated to include one level accommodation options for guests. Guests drive their car to the parking area and from this level can access all areas of the Lighthouse Lodge accommodation.
Room 1 has been renovated to include an Access Friendly doorway, shower area and toilet.
Other features of the Lodge have been designed with assistance from Warrnambool City Council Rural Access Officers.
