Loch Ard Exhibition Revisited
Our most priceless artefact, the $4m Loch Ard Peacock has a redevloped exhibition area to call home. The Great Circle Gallery has been redeveloped and a range of new exhibition pieces added.
The new exhibition features a range of new pieces from the Heritage Victoria Maritime Collection.
The Loch Ard Ships Bell is reunited with the Loch Ard Peacock. The Loch Ard Ships Bell was last used in the last stages of the wreck of 1878 when the captain screamed to get all hands on deck!! Now you can see this most beautiful piece here at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village.
Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village was awarded the 2009 Museums Australia Award - Organisational Excellence.
